District 2 of the Nebraska Nurses Association is hosting its Annual Celebrate Nursing Breakfast on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Georgetowne Club (2400 South 141st Circle) in Omaha, NE. The doors will open at 8:30 am. The breakfast buffet will open at approximately 9:00 am.

This breakfast is the venue to celebrate the art and science of nursing. The Annual Celebrate Nursing Breakfast provides you and your organization with an opportunity to present a Positive Image of Nursing Award to a special nurse for the hard work and dedication displayed each day. Last year, more than 30 nurses were recognized from a dozen organizations in the Omaha metro area.

The Spring meeting for District 2 will be held on March 10th at Alegent Lakeside Hospital in Conference Room B on the lower level. Registration begins at 6pm; business meeting begins at 6:30 pm; a brief program on healthcare fraud detection and prevention begins at 6:50 pm (1.0 contact hours).
